As a technician in Maasmechelen, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of various machines and installations. Your tasks include detecting and resolving technical malfunctions. You perform both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure that the machines continue to operate optimally, using your technical knowledge and experience. In addition, you are able to analyse and solve technical problems independently.
You work closely with other members of the technical team and report to the maintenance manager. Together, you ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Furthermore, you are responsible for keeping technical documentation up to date so that all information about the machines remains accurate. You also carry out inspections to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations.
Your role as a technician is crucial to the daily operation of our organisation in Maasmechelen. With your technical skills, you contribute to the smooth functioning of our production lines.
The position requires a hands-on mentality, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. You are flexible and willing to step in when unexpected issues arise.
In this role, you will also regularly liaise with suppliers or external technicians for major repairs or installations. Good communication and teamwork skills are therefore essential.
