Our client is a metal processing company in Belgium specialized in high-quality steel processing and production. They are currently looking for an experienced Slitting Line Operator to join their production team.In this role, you are responsible for operating and setting up metalworking machinery in a safe and efficient production environment. Precision, quality control, and teamwork are essential.
Your responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating slitting lines and metalworking machines
- Monitoring production parameters and making adjustments when needed
- Inspecting produced materials for quality and compliance
- Performing minor corrections and technical adjustments during production
- Carrying out basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Recording production data in the system
- Working in a safe, structured, and team-oriented production environment
Functie-eisen
We are looking for a technically skilled and reliable operator:- Experience with slitting lines and metal processing machinery
- Ability to set up and convert machines independently
- Experience operating overhead cranes is a plus
- Strong technical insight and problem-solving skills
- Accurate working style when monitoring production parameters
- Flexible and willing to work in shift systems
- Safety-conscious and responsible mindset
