Our client is a well-established transport and maintenance company based in Bilzen (Belgium), specialized in the servicing and repair of trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles.In this role, you are responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy-duty vehicles in a modern and fully equipped workshop. You ensure that all vehicles are delivered in safe and optimal working condition.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance and repair work on trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Inspecting vehicles and ensuring road safety standards
- Working with modern diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Ensuring high-quality and efficient repair work
- Collaborating with experienced technicians in a professional workshop
Working hours:
- 08:00 – 18:30
or - 10:30 – 18:00 (Mon–Fri) + Saturday 08:00 – 12:00 (depending on schedule)
Functie-eisen
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on truck mechanic:- Experience as a truck or trailer mechanic
- Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good level of English
- European nationality
- Category B driving licence (mandatory)
- Category C driving licence is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
